MASH NINA GENA DANTE is a work based on improvised scene work antagonizing the performances of actors playing Masha and Nina in Chekhov's The Seagull and Gena Rowland’s character Myrtle from Cassavetes' Opening Night within the context of depictions of Hell from Dante’s Inferno and Rauschenberg's Thirty-Four Illustrations for Dante’s Inferno. The sculptural figure at the center transformed throughout the original installation.
